The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) serves people who have disabilities – physical, mental, emotional – that present a substantial impediment to employment. Services are provided to individuals to prepare for, enter into, engage in or retain employment.
Current juniors and seniors who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or health impairment are encouraged to meet with the OVR representative to determine if they may be eligible for OVR services. Michael Sroka is the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor that has been assigned to Cranberry High School. She is scheduled to be at the high school one day a month, but could schedule to meet at the school on a different day that is convenient for the student.
You can contact OVR for School to Work Questions and Answers or ask your guidance counselor for more information. The OVR representative can be reached by phone 814.651.9592 or by email msroka@pa.gov.
